Building mode
I’ve been in a building phase lately. You know those periods where all you want to do is make stuff? That’s been me.
In my spare time, I’ve been cranking out prototypes and even rebuilt my personal site. Work’s been busy, so this is where the creative overflow lands.

One prototype is a little game. A twist on whack-a-mole. Fun, but it’s also a sneaky way to train your reflexes.
Another is a tool for myself. Lately, I’ve realised I don’t track small wins enough. Do you? Noticing them can really boost motivation and positivity, so I wanted a low-friction way to capture them, and be reminded of them.
So I built Winnny, a simple web page with a date-ordered log of wins and a filter. One random win gets featured front and centre, showing past victories you might have forgotten. It’s private, easy, and lives entirely in your browser. Feel free to give it a try.
And yes, my personal site got a refresh too. Simplified, cleaner, and now a proper profile and hub for all my outposts. I built it in plain HTML/CSS, with AI assistance. Good practice, but also fun to do.
Talk soon,
Mark
